Founded in 1894, the community is described on its website as Finland's first Seventh-day Adventist congregation. Sabbath worship takes place on Saturdays, with Finnish, Swedish, Estonian, English, Russian, Ukrainian, Bulgarian and Kinyarwanda groups.
Volunteers lead Bible study for adults, children and young teenagers. There is also a senior group and the Classic Praise Chorus choir. The entrance and toilet are wheelchair accessible.
