Founded in 1986, this Helsinki-based religious community was registered in early 1987 as Finland's second official Islamic community and is now the largest in the country. Any Muslim living in Finland can join, regardless of gender or mother tongue. It runs a mosque, and its Rabita Madrasah school, opened in the 2021–2022 school year, teaches the Quran, Arabic and the principles of Islam.
The community issues certificates of faith and halal certificates, arranges marriages and funerals, and offers family mediation, fatwa advice and guidance on Hajj and Umrah. Prayer times are posted on its website. The entrance and car park are wheelchair accessible, and there is a toilet.
