The Catholic Diocese of Helsinki covers the whole of Finland and is the country's only diocese of the universal Catholic Church. It was the Apostolic Vicariate of Finland until 1955, when it became a diocese. The bishop is Raimo Goyarrola, consecrated in November 2023, and the diocese has eight parishes, including the cathedral parish of St Henry.
The diocese's website, in Finnish, Swedish and English, covers Mass, the Liturgy of the Hours and the liturgical calendar, as well as courses on the Catholic faith. Its work can be supported with donations or bequests, and Catholic books are sold through a separate online bookshop. There is a toilet for visitors.
