This church in the parish house of the Orthodox Parish of Helsinki is dedicated to the Apostle James, the Brother of the Lord, and the Great Martyr Catherine. Services are held in Finnish, Swedish, English, Church Slavonic, Greek and Romanian; they include vespers, and a Finnish-language liturgy is celebrated on Wednesdays. The feast days of St James and St Catherine are kept as its patronal feasts.
Many services can be followed live on Facebook. The worship space is on the fourth floor, and stairs lead from the street to the lift, so access is not fully step-free, although the small lift takes a rollator. There is a wheelchair-accessible toilet but no induction loop.
