This unified comprehensive school in Helsinki has about 1,000 pupils on two sites: Alatalo for grades 1–5 and Ylätalo for grades 6–9. Bilingual teaching in Finnish and English began in 2019, and from the 2025–2026 academic year it covers grades 1–9. Music is emphasised from grade 3, and since 2016 grades 7–9 have had a sports emphasis run with Urhea, the Helsinki region's sports academy.
If there are more applicants than places, bilingual places in grade 1 are drawn by lot, while grade 7 admission is by aptitude test. Morning activities are free and afternoon activities paid. There are over ten accessible outdoor parking spaces, a step-free entrance, a lift and accessible toilets.
