Run by a non-profit association that began operating in 1994, the school provides basic arts education in architecture for ages 4–19. School-age children can also attend holiday camps and themed courses, including LEGO, construction and model-making activities. Its work includes architecture education projects and publishing teaching materials.
Daycare and school groups can commission workshops on architecture and the built environment. The premises are in the Cable Factory cultural centre, with wheelchair-accessible seating available.
