Founded by Matti Hintikka and Kuutti Lavonen in 2001, the fine art lithography workshop supports collaborative and independent artist work. Prints are made by hand on a direct-printing press, mainly from limestone but also aluminium and photopolymer plates. Techniques include gold leaf, dusting, chine collé, bookbinding and monotype.
The workshop provides collaborative edition printing and basic lithography courses open to beginners. It uses pH-neutral papers and documents the work. Practitioners include Kalle Berg, Matti Hintikka and Roma Auskalnyte.
