This Helsinki gym has been on the same site since 1995 and covers more than 700 square metres. Its website calls it a traditional gym for serious trainers, with equipment from makers such as Cybex and David. There are also group classes, personal training, massage, physiotherapy, a sauna and a solarium, and the changing rooms and sauna areas have been renovated.
Membership involves no long-term commitment: contracts end with one calendar month's notice, and membership can be paused, for example during a holiday. A free trial visit can be requested through an online form, and single visits can be bought online, with a PIN code sent by email. The entrance is not wheelchair accessible.
