This Helsinki company is the Finnish arm of a toy retail group whose roots go back to a garage near Tallinn in the early 1990s. It runs 12 XS Lelut toy shops around Finland and Build-A-Bear Workshops in three locations. Its store in the Stockmann department store in Helsinki covers 800 m² and includes a Build-A-Bear Workshop and a Bunny&Me sewing studio, and its Helsinki Airport shop is in the Schengen area near gate 21.
At Build-A-Bear you choose a character, stuff it, take part in a heart ceremony and add accessories. Toys and games are also sold online, and credit and debit cards are accepted.
