This music school teaches children and adults in Helsinki and Vantaa. Instrument lessons are one-to-one in both band and classical instruments, and children can join muskari (early childhood music) groups for different ages: traditional, family, instrument, band and theatre muskari. The Majakka project brings music, including instrument groups and bands, to schools and youth facilities.
Teaching takes place at roughly 50 venues, mostly schools, along with some day-care centres, youth spaces and an upper secondary school. There are no entrance exams, and students can also start mid-term. Enquiries go through the contact form on the website.
