A wooden viewing terrace and a bridge sit beside the rapids of the Mätäjoki river in Strömberginpuisto park in Helsinki, giving a view of the foaming water. The park is named after Gottfrid Strömberg, a pioneer of Finland's electrical industry, and the land once belonged to the Tali manor. It was designed in 2002 by Puutarhakonsultit Oy.
In the east of the park, a rocky hill rises almost 30 metres above sea level, with mixed forest, a radio mast and an air-raid shelter built into the rock. The Strömberg playground has a zip line, so the area is suitable for children. A gazebo on the upper western slope was built at residents' request, and an underpass leads to the Tali allotment gardens.
