This optician is in the Korttelikeskus Ruohis shopping centre in Helsinki and belongs to a chain with several stores in Helsinki and others in cities such as Espoo, Vantaa, Tampere and Turku. It offers eye exams and contact lens exams for first-time and existing wearers; children over 8 are examined here, while younger children see an eye doctor through a partnership with Mehiläinen. The range covers glasses, sunglasses, sports glasses and contact lenses, and glasses are also repaired.
A standard eye exam takes about 30 minutes and can be booked online. The entrance is wheelchair accessible, and Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Klarna and contactless mobile payments are accepted.
