This small private English-language daycare in Helsinki takes children aged one to six. It follows the Finnish early childhood education curriculum, which emphasises play, exploration and everyday experiences, and puts weight on friendship, kindness, respect and social and emotional skills. Central Park is right next door, and the children go on nature and forest outings in every season.
English is the main language (about 75%), with Finnish (about 25%) used in circle time, singing, storytelling and reading. Children need no prior English or Finnish. Visits are booked through an online form, places are applied for with an application form, and the entrance is step-free.
