This day-care centre belongs to Pilke päiväkodit Oy, which provides early childhood education across Finland, with about 210 day-care centres, preschools and after-school clubs and over 12,000 children. Education focuses on learning through everyday life and play, and centres have different emphases such as languages, science, nature, sports, music and arts.
Places can be applied for online, and an introductory visit with the child can be arranged. Meals are provided on site with a published menu. Local Pilke centres run free family cafés open to families with children.
