This City of Helsinki day care centre focuses on nature and outings: children learn outdoors and make regular trips to the forest, parks, beaches and around the city. There are eight groups: two for under-threes, two nature-focused pre-school groups and the rest for ages 2 to 5. Staff include a special needs early childhood teacher.
Besides a large yard, children use a youth centre hall, and pre-schoolers a school hall. A shopping centre and good public transport are nearby. Six accessible parking spaces lie more than 10 metres from the entrance; the path is uneven but lit and the door is heavy. Both floors have an accessible toilet. The service language is Finnish.
