Family day care takes place in the childminder's home, with up to four children cared for by one familiar adult. Days include outdoor activity, exercise in nature and home-cooked meals. Childminders have training and pedagogical competence, and the service is supervised by the municipality.
A visit to the childminder's home is available before accepting a place. A gradual start can include a parent staying during the first days. Applications are submitted through an online form.
