Run by the City of Helsinki, this small, close-knit day-care centre occupies a two-storey building beside Central Park (Keskuspuisto), with good transport links. About 40 children aged 1 to 5 are cared for in four groups, and the groups help each other. It shares an early education unit with the Fredriksberg and Pikku-Duunari day-care centres.
The service language is Finnish. An accessible parking space is less than 10 metres from the entrance and a drop-off point less than 5 metres away. The lit path has a steep slope, the door is heavy and thresholds are over 2 cm high. There are two floors with at least four steps on the main routes. Lunch menus are published on the city's website.
