This Helsinki beer bar belongs to the Kalaravintolat group, which runs six beer restaurants in the city and has been around since 1992. Its model is the Dutch brown café: a relaxed pub that feels like a living room.
Orders are placed at the bar, which also serves food, and drinks include beer, wine, cocktails and spirits. There is outdoor seating, games are available, and dogs are allowed. Tables are not reserved, but groups can book all or part of the pub for a private event; there is no separate private room. The entrance is not wheelchair accessible, and a visit usually takes 45 minutes to two hours.
