A brasserie and pub in Helsinki serving seasonal European classics, modelled on Stockholm's Sturehof and London's St. John. The à la carte menu includes classics such as duck leg confit and elk steak, and the head chef is Jukka Nykänen. The spacious, light-toned dining room has white tablecloths and high windows facing the Esplanade park and the courtyard of the historic Bensow house, and there is a large terrace in warm weather.
Dinner tables should be booked online or by phone, but the bar takes walk-ins. The entrance, seating and toilet are step-free, high chairs are available, and cards and mobile payments are accepted.
