This Helsinki riding school is approved by the Finnish Equestrian Federation, and its pony school started in early 2012. Lessons are offered for all ages, with separate groups for children, young people and adults, riding the centre's own ponies. The centre also holds show jumping, cross-country and dressage competitions.
Riders must belong to a riding club, as the stable does not insure them. The affiliated club, Ratsastusseura Skara ry (formerly Karlvikin Ratsastajat ry), has about 400 riders, and membership includes accident insurance, a membership card and Hippos magazine. Lessons are booked by phone, and text messages are for cancellations only.
