This Helsinki neighbourhood restaurant combines a bar and a kitchen, pairing traditional flavours with modern technique. Everything is made by hand from fresh ingredients, and signature dishes include Toast Skagen (prawn toast), meatballs and salmon soup. At the bar, drinks come with small house-made plates, and a terrace opens in the warmer months.
Tables can be booked online; for the private rooms or groups of more than six, book by email or phone. The two private rooms seat 10 and 14. Dogs are welcome in the bar and on the terrace without a booking, but pets should stay at home for dinner reservations. Gift cards are sold online and on site. The entrance is not wheelchair accessible.
