The restaurant is in the former School of Economics building, designed by Woldemar Baeckman and Hugo Harmia. It is run by Kanresta, a social enterprise owned by the Finnish Public Health Association (SKTY). A weekday buffet lunch is served Monday to Friday, with a soup lunch and a three-course seated business lunch also available. The menu focuses on European cuisine classics made with seasonal ingredients, with vegetarian and vegan options, and the meat is domestic unless the menu says otherwise.
A private dining room, banquet hall, auditorium and restaurant hall can be hired for seminars, gala dinners and weddings. Table reservations are recommended in advance for groups of more than six. Only bank and credit cards are accepted, no cash. Accessible seating, entrance and toilet are provided.
