This Helsinki market square is run by a local volunteer group funded by annual membership fees. Food trucks visit, and on Saturdays there are market tables, weather permitting. A 3 x 3 metre art tent can also be booked from the group for sales tables, food, music or art.
Saturday table spots must be reserved by the Thursday morning before. Both companies and associations can book, companies only a limited number of times a year. Permanent vendor spots and kiosk contracts are arranged through the city. Events are posted on the group's blog and Facebook page. The square has step-free access and accessible parking.
