This unsupervised city beach in Helsinki is not for children on their own, and nobody should swim alone or under the influence. According to the map on the information board, there are toilets, a changing room, a shower and bins, and a safe swimming area and approximate water depths are marked.
The city's beach rules apply here too: no dogs or other animals on the beach, no glass, fires only at designated cooking spots, and quiet from 11 pm to 7 am. Motor vehicles and boats must stay outside the buoy line. A visit usually lasts from ten minutes to an hour.
