This indoor climbing centre in Helsinki has three rope-climbing halls and three bouldering areas, with walls up to 16 metres high, 17 auto-belays and a fully stocked climbing gear shop. Courses cover lead climbing, bouldering, technique and outdoor rock climbing, and children can join junior groups or hold birthday parties here.
Beginners can drop in without booking, experience or their own gear, and groups can book a guided taster. For rope climbing, only lockable, assisted-braking belay devices are allowed, and you can borrow one here. Parking in the sports centre yard and the sauna are free. A visit usually takes 1.5 to 3 hours.
