This is the duty desk of the Helsinki Police Department, where crime reports are taken and lost property is handled. You can also add to or withdraw a crime report and order police records and copies of documents, and temporary passports are dealt with here too.
The police advise handling matters online first and booking a service time in advance whenever possible. Lost keys and glasses can only be enquired about in person. Weapons, ammunition and explosives must not be brought to the duty desk. A visit usually takes about 1.5 to 4 hours. The entrance, toilet and car park are wheelchair accessible.
