Founded in 1966, this Helsinki boating club has about 320 members. Its harbour is leased from the City of Helsinki and partly from a private landowner, and its four piers with about 160 berths were built by volunteers. Members can use a guard cabin, a grill shelter, a long house with a kitchen and toilet and a winter storage area, and the club has its own base on Tagholmen island at Stora Bodö in the Porvoo area.
Membership is applied for with an online form, and the volunteer fee can be replaced by ten hours of volunteer work per season. There is a summer kiosk on the shore, and winter swimming wristbands are sold at the red cabin next to Kahvila Meridian, payable by card or ePassi.
