This national expert and civic organisation works to prevent harm related to alcohol, drugs, nicotine and gambling. It works with children, young people, parents, students, working-age adults and older people in cooperation with schools, municipalities, wellbeing services counties and other organisations. Activities include alcohol-free Elokolo meeting places and BuenoTalk.fi content for young people.
Its substance use advice helpline operates around the clock, alongside drug information advice and a substance abuse ombudsman service. Online courses and tests assessing substance or digital device use are available. The organisation does not itself provide corrective treatment or healthcare. The office has wheelchair-accessible seating and a toilet.
