Personal assistance is offered to adults with severe disabilities or functional limitations, along with respite cover during family carers' statutory leave. Personal assistant services also cater for entrepreneurs, families, people living alone and older adults. Dogs and cats can be cared for in their own homes.
Support takes place at home or outside it. A needs assessment, service plan and agreement are completed with the client before work begins, with support tailored to physical, psychological and social needs.
