Founded in 1984, the association brings together crime fiction and detective culture enthusiasts. It publishes the quarterly Ruumiin kulttuuri magazine and Dekkaribrunssi podcast and awards the Vuoden johtolanka prize and Hornanlinna lifetime achievement certificate.
Activities include monthly crime fiction evenings, theatre and event trips and a book fair programme. Membership is available through the website. Events follow safer-space principles and have a designated contact person.
