Founded in 1969, the student association brings together students of biochemistry, microbiology, genetics, and cell and molecular biology. It represents students' interests, links them with university administration and organises events and networking. Hobby clubs cover running, climbing, board games and photography.
Full and supporting memberships are available. Sweatshirts, printed T-shirts, canvas bags, lab coats, overalls, songbooks and badges are sold at the club room in Biocenter 1 on the Viikki campus and at association events.
