Founded in 1898, the painting trade association represents about 50 member businesses in the capital region, including painting firms, interior renovation companies and concrete facade specialists. It helps develop the trade and its education.
Individual members include supervisors, teachers and supporters. Membership of Surface Contractors Finland provides access to national decision-making. Members can use the Pintaturva insurance package developed with Fennia. Related activities include a painters' museum, vocational school, women's section and bowling club.
