Activities for reserve officers include maintaining military skills, shooting, fitness, lectures and trips. The district's member associations also bring together younger reserve officers.
Member associations can book meeting rooms for 10 to 20 people and an auditorium for about 50 in Maanpuolustusjärjestöjen talo. The auditorium houses a Civil Guard heritage room. A seaside log cabin in Spjutsund has a sauna and meeting and overnight facilities for 13. National union membership is through a member association.
