Founded in 1972, the association preserves the memory and ideals of the Finnish Jäger movement. It organises training, lectures, discussions and study trips to related sites in Finland and abroad, publishes material and supports research.
Anyone interested in the Jäger tradition can take part. Its library holds Jäger literature and a photograph collection. The organisation includes 12 local associations and two regional areas. The website provides a historical timeline covering 1914–1918.
