Founded in 1905, branch 049 of the Finnish Electrical Workers' Union represents members' interests at work. It arranges training, meetings and social activities such as pétanque and theatre outings.
Courses include ASPA project cost calculation and electrical and occupational safety card renewals for unemployed members. The branch office provides advice and information about union services. A written branch history is also available to members.
