Founded in 1946, the trade union represents technically trained and specialist professionals in municipal and wellbeing services. Its 13 regional member associations cover Finland, and it is linked to Akava and JUKO through sector organisations.
Members receive labour market advocacy, membership benefits and unemployment insurance information. The union trains shop stewards and publishes a member magazine.
