The university alumni association welcomes former and current students and staff, with supporting membership open to other interested people. It organises over 50 science, culture and working-life events, trips and celebrations annually. Members receive a yearly subscription to Yliopisto magazine.
Volunteer alumni give students online advice on CVs, job searches and careers. The office also matches members' expertise with university volunteering tasks. An online shop sells books, badges and wine glasses, among other items. Information is available in Finnish, Swedish and English. The entrance is wheelchair accessible.
