The international Masonic order is open equally to women and men and is founded on freedom, equality and fraternity. Its working method is ceremonial and symbolic and does not accept dogmas. Finland has nine lodges.
Lodges meet monthly during the working season, and members may visit lodges abroad. Open introductory evenings and an applicants' guide are available to prospective members. Membership is not restricted by religion, ethnicity, social status or profession.
