The association promotes equal participation, wellbeing and intercultural understanding among children and young people. It is an expert partner of the Football Association of Finland in preventing racism and promoting diversity. Its Urban Children and Youth programme supports urban families at risk of exclusion.
MP Basketball Skills Academy offers individual and small-group coaching for children and young people, with scholarships for those from lower-income families. The association also runs Pikku-Kettu Basket ry's team activities. It works with municipalities, educational institutions, organisations and families, including through the Hyvän arjen rakentajat programme.
