This umbrella organisation works with and for children and young people in Uusimaa. It brings together 126 member associations and seven regional district associations, with around 18,000 individual members, and manages over 100 association houses. Hobby groups cover theatre, film, visual arts and crafts.
Activities include a Swedish-language youth club, a day camp, a ukulele club, courses and events. It operates the Bygdehemmet party venue and provides website and graphic services for members. It is one of four regional federations belonging to the national Swedish-language youth federation, FSU.
