The ITF Taekwon-Do club offers family-oriented training that also considers children and young people using alternative or supporting communication methods. Deaf and hard-of-hearing students are taught with sign language and visual methods. Groups serve hearing students, cochlear implant users, families and adults practising self-defence.
Training covers basic techniques, patterns, sparring, power breaking and self-defence. Instructors have professional coaching education and attend international instructor courses. Registration is through MyClub. Sessions use municipal facilities and occasionally a separate gym.
Share your family's training experience in the comments to help others assess whether the groups suit them.
