Founded in 2016, the art and cultural workers' collective opened its doors in 2017. Run by TKOK ry, the cultural centre hosts cinema, performance, music, spoken word, visual arts and pedagogical activity. Its focus includes experimental, marginal and migrant forms of expression and BIPOC artists.
The work draws on anticolonial, anti-patriarchal and intersectional feminist values. The collective received the Tutkijaliitto Award in 2019 and the State Art Prize for multidisciplinary art in 2020. The entrance and toilet are wheelchair accessible.
