Founded in 1995, the heritage association records local slang and traditions of spoken language, leisure and urban culture. It organises heritage days and slang competitions. Its cultural heritage magazine Tsilari has appeared quarterly since 1996.
Membership is open to anyone interested in slang and city culture. The association takes part in the book fair and annually names a woman and a man to represent these traditions.
