Founded in 1964, this national fish farming advocacy organisation works on operating conditions, legislation and markets. It began by promoting rainbow trout farming and adopted its present name in 1992.
Members receive training, advice and sector information. The organisation represents farmers in working groups and maintains domestic and international stakeholder contacts. Its office is in Huolintatalo.
