The trade union represents practical nurses and other workers in social care, health, education and guidance. Members include school assistants, emergency care assistants and sterile supply workers. Its history dates to 1948. Representation covers pay, holidays and other employment terms.
Members receive support for workplace situations, occupational safety guidance, webinars and recordings. The union publishes a member magazine and podcasts and monitors how international agreements and EU decisions affect members' work.
