The trade union represents police, judicial administration, emergency response centre and security intelligence professionals. About 11,000 members belong to 81 member associations. It negotiates state-sector collective agreements with JUKO.
Member services include shop stewards, legal assistance and membership administration. Benefits include insurance, holiday cottages and the Poliisi & Oikeus magazine. The union also works through Akava on public policy.
