Finland's national scouting organisation has its head office in Helsinki, in the Partioasema building. Scouting is a hobby in which children, young people and adults build their skills, and there are activities for families and for people who need extra support, including scouting in plain language and in sign language. Local scout groups run activities, alongside low-threshold scout clubs.
To join, find a local group with the finder on the organisation's website. Members get membership services, a membership card and insurance. Accessible events carry a Helppo tulla ('easy to come') label. The main site is in Finnish, with separate Swedish and English sites.
