The national parents' organisation promotes cooperation between homes and educational institutions, from early childhood education to upper secondary education. Registered parents' associations attached to daycare centres, schools and other educational institutions can become members. Its work includes statements on education legislation and organising Home and School Day.
The Kohti turvallista koulupolkua project offers parents peer groups and a telephone service concerning bullying. The organisation also hosts online sessions, publishes a newsletter and parents' barometer, and runs projects on youth participation and school environments.
If your association has used this support, share your experience in the comments for other parents' associations.
