The trade union represents support-service professionals, including assistants, coordinators, supervisors and managers. With around 2,000 members, it belongs to Akava Erityisalat, a Finnish union federation. It negotiates working conditions and provides legal, employment and sector-specific salary advice.
Member services include career coaching, job-search support, peer groups, training and events. Membership includes unemployment insurance through the Ote unemployment fund. Scholarships are offered to graduating student members, and members can host workplace networking visits.
