Founded by three university students in 2010, the organisation introduces young researchers to the biotechnology industry and careers beyond academia. Activities include seminars, forums, career events, company visits in Finland and abroad, and social gatherings.
Membership is through a mailing list subscription. A committee and advisory board guide the organisation, with researchers and biotech company founders among its advisers. The office is on the Viikki university campus, with a wheelchair-accessible entrance and toilet.
